I might have a corrupted .wick file. Need advice

So basically, Whenever a rare chance you load a .wick file, It can take a long, long time just to load. That exactly happened when I’m working on my first episode of Arfa’s Version.

Does this mean that my .wick file is corrupted? Maybe it’s because I overwrited the Ver3.5 file with another one. I don’t know :/

are you able to provide the wick file? i wanna see if i can open it myself or diagnose the problem

Alright, Here.

i think the issue may have to do with one of the audio files you used.

according to the console, an audio file did not have a proper file extension? and i think it’s the one with you saying “PAP” really loud into the mic.

i’m gonna try some… surgery and see what happens

WAIT I GOT IT HUGE (the surgically replaced audio file did not work but i WAS able to get it)

i guess for some reason one of the file’s extensions is read as “null” and the whole thing just dies. so i just… forced that one file to have the extension it should have lol

i may be busy for a bit but if i have any downtime i’ll try to repair the wick file properly and give it to you as soon as i can

here’s the file - and there’s that problematic sound file. i had to delete it from the asset library so you’ll need to replace it with a non-damaged version of the asset yourself.

what was the format of that file by the way? and could you give me the original asset so i could take a closer look at it?
