I feel that adding pressure to the pillow wouldn’t really fit with the art style and the movement, unless the stick figure were like grabbing it or smashing it.
I would suggest not using too many ease-outs since it can make your animation look weird. Try some inbetweening with and without easing in your works.

Even though the music is just ripping me apart, the animation is pretty smooth for being 12fps. It looks like something I’d see in the 2000s with a dial-up modem. Sure, it might take ages, but the animation makes it worth it! did i mention that i hate the music

You could also make the framerate higher, but that doesn’t equal smooth animation
cool! speaking of paper animation, i made this a while back because i had no internet and wanted to pass the time 
i think the result is pretty cool because i was fairly new to this kind of method.
theres around 20 frames in the animation (mostly animated on twos), 24 fps, and i timed the frames entirely on wick
