What made you find Wick Editor?

My story, so I was tryna find a good software for animating (particularly object show stuff) because FlipaClip was getting worse and worse and I wanted to escape from the horror. I saw this video: https://youtu.be/ZNnzNWuVTX8?si=4p5h6N5gkyKISW8k

That’s when I stumbled upon Wick Editor for the first time. I was like “WOW! Those results are so cool! I better try Wick!”. I was kinda doubting it would be a software to download on PC and I was only on an iPad (I do have a PC but it’s kinda hard to draw with a mouse) but luckily it is web-based

I took some tutorials, learnt on the forums and now I am here :D

Cool, I watched alan becker and I really wanted to have animate one day, so I watched his tutorials even though I had no way to animate, and then found his video on animation apps, I tried the ones I could and wick editor turned out to be the best.

Wow! Glad to share the same beginnings!

but here’s the thing, I did not start on tablet, nor a computer. I started on a Samsung smart fridge :skull:. Never again, but now I animate on pc lol-

  1. how I use mouse to draw:

go into brush tab

  1. crank up that Screenshot_20-10-2025_164253_www.wickeditor.com to 100%
(This is to make drawings smoother and plain better.)

  2. Next turn on Relative brush size (Screenshot_20-10-2025_164536_www.wickeditor.com)
    and then KABLAM AND BAM!

Yeah it worked for me.

You can also use line tool and path cursor if you want to make stickfigures, or something else, when the brush really isn’t that effiicent.
