in my opinion it is not the Os that will not make a big difference (I work on linux, win and Mac)with regard to wick.
Btw PC stands for Personal Computer, a pretty vague term (nowadays it should cover smartphones, tablets, netbooks…) and usually refers to the hardware so, yes a Macbook is a pc too.
A good processor and enough ram will make working with wickeditor pleasant.
Keep in mind that even if you have a supercomputer operated by a nuclear power plant, if you are making a web application (eg a game), you have to conform to the average specs of your user pcs or no one will be able to play it
It honestly doesn’t really matter which computer you get, as long as it can run current web browsers. Wick is a web app, and has downloads for Mac, Windows, and Linux, so you’re good with pretty much anything, at least for Wick. If you plan on using the computer for anything else besides Wick, make sure it supports what else you want to do.
A side note, but I feel like this topic is devolving a bit into Mac vs. Windows vs. Chromebook and should probably be closed.
All modern operating systems are equally powerful and all work fine.
It is really just personal preference.
