What computers work better with wick? Cause I’m in the process of getting a new pc and I would like to know.

Do u know your budget? How much you want to spend? Laptop or desktop?
If you dont care about laptop or desktop, then I strongly suggest the new mac mini M1 basic model for 699.99. If you are student you could get one for 679.99.
I would recommend getting a pc that is capable of running multiple softwares, so the best choices are Windows or a macbook.
Which is better, Window or macOS? Now, I’m rarely experienced with macbooks, so I would be more in favor of windows because I’m more used to it. But that’s just a biased opinion, so I recommend you do a bit of online research before making your decision…

Thank you for clarify that. It is more like less than 1k, less than 500? What or how much a pc cost is not a personal info. That is why I ask how much “you want” to pay. That should not be confuse with how much money you have, which was not the question or intention.
Windows is an operating system, not a PC. So you prefer windows PC I assume.
Regardless the OS, right now the most value for your money PC is that mac mini M1. If is for wick editor OS falls secundary since you will be using probably chrome browser anyways.
i have like a 2015 macbook air and it still runs things like wick reasonably smoothly. i’m getting a newer macbook air pretty soon.

I used to have a mac book pro model from 2013 and it worked properly with wick and 2 months ago i got a new dell inspiron 13 5000 series and it also works perfectly with wick
i got my pc for around $500. it has 16 gigs of ram and can run wick fully capable along with other software such as adobe animate and premire pro.
also, as i know you can run wick editor even on chromebooks. you dont need the best hardware to utilize wick to its full potential.
Do not get a mac. It’s like burning money.
That is not a constructive suggestion. Its just an empty comment. Could you elaborate more? There are pretty good hi performance macs right now at good prices. Like the M1 lineups. Also there are a lot of good windows pcs at good prices as well. Both will get the job done. There are good Chromebooks as well.
Because for any mac that’s at a “good price” you can get a better PC at the same price. It’s not an empty comment. This is the best advice in this thread.

In some cases yes. Not necesarily for the M1s. Look for geekbench performance results…
if you were to get a Chromebook, don’t get a new one. some of the Chromebooks out there are the same prices as windows PC’s that are better. if I were you and was going to buy a Chromebook, I would buy a used one on craigslist or eBay, and just put ubuntu or kali Linux on it.
I did that with my old Chromebook and it runs wick very well now. ChromeOS bottlenecks proformance on those laptops.

I work on a chrome book but I do recommend windows 10 desktop or laptop that has a lot of memory and storage.
