Time and effort bud. I’ll use like three different reference images and then compile my own version of what I’m drawing. I mainly only use that for weapons and I rarely draw a background image with reference.

bravo bravo that is so much better than my drawing you are really good at drawing weapons i tried to draw a sniper but it looks more of an rpg gun

s good enough because it is so hard for me to add more details but you ho ho hoo you are like when the sniper looks good for you you put even more details

wait, what’s that orange tint in the water… and what’s that dark yellow thing on the right?
and also i’m unsure what’s the gray stuff is supposed to be in the first place, is it supposed to be land with settlements or some sort of garbage island?
I think the orange tint is supposed to be the sun’s reflection and the yellow thing is the sun. it’s just that the sun is in front of the water and it’s off to the side while the reflection is in the middle.
and i think it’s gray because maybe it’s a wasteland or something along those lines.
correct me if i’m wrong.
