There are 4 delete buttons referred to - the literal delete button on your keyboard (keyboard-delete), the button under the asset in the library (asset-delete), the one in the toolbar (toolbar-delete), and the one in the timeline (timeline-delete)
You’ll need this info: Wick restricts you from uploading the same asset twice.
Upload something and asset-delete it. You can’t upload it again.
Upload something and toolbar-delete it. Same as asset-deleting.
Upload something and keyboard-delete it. Still same thing.
Upload something and timeline-delete it. Even though it’s grayed out, it still works. There is no delete warning, it deletes immediately. And you still can’t upload the same thing again.
You can reupload the asset if you upload something else between deleting and reuploading.
The more I test this out, the more confused I get… Occasionally you can upload the same thing after deleting, most of the time you can’t. You seemingly consistently can’t upload the same thing if it’s already there, which is fine. It’s possible that the engine forgets most of the time to teach itself the asset is gone and it can be uploaded again.
EDIT: This is going to take way more analyzing.
