Candlestick 1.0: A New Fork of Wick Editor

That should work, but something is broken in uploading font assets to the library.

What is it?

I don’t know. All I do know is that 1.19.4 fixed it, but all the forks are running on 1.19.3.

TTFs are working for me on all the current versions of wick, including 1.19.3.

could you open the console and show me what happens when you try to import a custom font?

I can’t use gradients on mobile

I am so relieved to see that this is still being worked on!! I thought the Wic editor had died off years ago!!

Wick Editor is still dead. Candlestick is just the most complex (and most official) fork we have.

me Lil bro

Wait how do you have version 1.19.4?

It’s on wickeditor.com/test. I think it also has a branch on the Wick Source.

Of course some random middle aged dude stole the Candlestick.app domain :weary:

There is a market for buying up domains for cheap and selling them at higher prices. That’s just how ‘flipping’ assets work.

Modern capitalism pretty much lives under this idea: stocks (and other speculative currencies) only go up if you flip them, and debt is bought by big corps, which try to make that debt even higher.

Pretty much describes Modern America right now.

theres candlessapp.com

we spent a bit looking for domains before purchasing candlestickers, and by then we agreed we’d name our organization “candlestickers” and the app “candlestick”. it’s in a similar way that the organization behind wick editor is/was “wicklets”, except our website is named for the organization, not the app.

The first time I saw it, I tried typing in the address bar “Candlesticks.com

Is there a optional Light or Dark mode? if not, it would be a nice addition, since I like light mode for a lot of my stuff besides Discord.

not yet, though i suppose it doesn’t hurt to add it.
