Congratulations to Hamzah_Al_Ani and Pixel Lide!

Last week, winners were announced for the first ever Mozilla Festival Youth Zone Hackathon.

Our very own @Hamzah_Al_Ani took 3rd place for their project, Pixel Lide!!!

Pixel Lide is a pixel-based animation program created IN Wick Editor!

It is so great to see such a fantastic project get recognized as it’s so clear a lot of work was put into the project. Congrats @Hamzah_Al_Ani!!!

@Hamzah_Al_Ani now you can get a Raspberry Pi and use it to host the pixel lide website! You could use apache: https://www.raspberrypi.org/documentation/remote-access/web-server/apache.md or flask: https://towardsdatascience.com/python-webserver-with-flask-and-raspberry-pi-398423cc6f5d

hamzah, i have never seen so much talent in that small of a size. You’re outstanding.

@Hamzah_Al_Ani LOOK AT THIS
You can record your screen in literally 10 lines of code and then it converts to a video.
You could implement this and then crop it so it’s only the canvas!

Yes, I tried to keep the project small so it could run at a good speed
I had to do all types of tricks to keep the project small

This looks great!
I’ll look into it more when I have time

Also, @Youyou, I saw your project and I think it’s great!
It might be incomplete, but I know it’ll end up great :+1:

I asked through an email about the prizes, and they should be sent to the email that you submitted your project with through this forum
