yo, I’m trying to see how some of y’all make impacts because I’m trying to get better at it and seeing y’all animations helps
if you tween the hand and make a big pow sign, then when it crashes, make it slowly get smaller. Hope this helps!
can I get an example?
still waiting on a response
yes but I’m in school so later.
alright so I haven’t made to many animations with impact frame or energy but here are some I did do:
Better Fight
so this was is my newest project with impacts frames
You can see on frame 199, 200, 261,279 and 280 there are some smears
Frames 257-259 had particles following hand
Frames 281-290 and 329-337 had impact frames (Note: second one followed hand slightly)
Careful use of V-cam
(Note: Did some of the v-cam manually due to only 3 types of eases available; didn’t have Stickman red’s fork)
I can go more into V-cam if you want but not right now.
Better fight 26.wick (332.4 KB)
Arthur
In this animation I put multiple related frames
-
morphing in the beginning
-
some elgonated smears(frames 246-253)
-
some impact frames and some particle smear at frames 296-341
-
a ring of explosion at frames 357-384 (with some particles rushing to the arm before hand)
-
most hardest of them all, frames 673-754 was a explosion
During these frames the sword fell down, creating another explosion, making it totally lasting 101 frames
and there was some V-cam shaking.(not properly used)

Parkour
So this one doesn’t exactly have of what you are looking for but here it is anyway
so I put some energy and a sound to give anticipation for what would happen so it doesn’t come unexpected. It’s not really cursed or anything that’s unpredictable
If you have any questions I will answer the later, because I have to go in 5 minutes.
same here lol
oh and i forgot to mention that I made Arthur before More Parkour
yoooo nice animations man, how do you use ease in and ease out though?
for V-cam?
yeah, I don’t know how to use it that well
Sometimes I do it manually since there aren’t that many eases so I did do some of it manually before but with Stickmared’s fork there are more eases.
When i tried to do some proper V-cam for the first time, I just tried over and over agian till I got it correctly, seeing what worked last time and what didn’t, what I had to do manually, which I could use tweens on, and eventually I would get a excellent result with it. Over the months I have been getting better at V-cam
For example on Better Fight I tried to get the right V-cam movement for the impact frames untill I realised To use tweens for the kick, manually for the most of the rest.
You can take refrence from my projects for more details for the V-cam.
So basically, try, try again Untill V-cam movements are perfected.
thanks for the advice I’ll try
