Download YouTube Videos?

Good Morning to whomever I need to address…

I was wondering if you are happy for the ICT Support guys in the school I will be teaching Wick in to make offline copies of the Wick YouTube video guides at https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCXUM4laL0jXCO4wJjY15xqg please as the students are blocked from using YouTube.

Thank You!

Kind Regards
Steve

they have the youtube videos on there website

If u guys need to make offline versions for your students because you can’t have them use youtube, u guys could wait for @Luxapodular’s approval… I don’t really think the wick team would mind since they shared the videos for educational purposes.

@BSA_15 the school filter blocks embedded YouTube videos as well :frowning:

@Hamzah_Alani definately  hence the post, didn’t know who in the forum the channel belonged to

Thank You for your replies though, will continue to wait for official response

The channel is owned by Luxapodular

You can always send Wick an email
contact@wickeditor.com

Hey @Steven_Gilson, you may download the videos for educational and non-commercial purposes!

Brilliant, thank you @Luxapodular

How I download videos is I copy the video link, then go to VLC media player then go to Media > Open Network Stream, paste the Network URL, and press Play. Then, I go to Tools > Codec Information, copy and paste the location on the bottom of the window to a web browser, and right click on the video and press Save video as… This prevents me from going to those sketchy youtube downloader websites that shows a pop up when you download a video.

can’t you just search for a youtube downloader?
