Editor suddenly unable to load most recent saved wick file

What Wick Editor Version are you using?
1.19.4 (online version)

Describe the Problem
I have saved the project both as a wick file and a zip file. When loading the wick file, it gives me an indefinite “please wait” screen, and when I try to open the zip file it just says “could not open file”.

What have you tried so far?
I’ve tried loading up an older version of the save and it worked fine… But when I tried redoing the parts of the project I’d lost in the process and saved the file again… same issue.

EDIT: old link didn’t work, so I’m gonna just try to link to the wick file itself (says it’s too big to upload onto the forums OTL).

Any and all help is greatly appreciated-- I’d really like to continue working on this project!

EDIT 2: here’s the older version of the project, which DOES work when loaded, if it matters.

UPDATE: I tried running a few experiments, and it could POSSIBLY be that the issue is with uploading some sound effects. When I tried uploading a sound as a .wav file, it worked fine. However, when I converted the sound to an .ogg file in Audacity (like I had to several other files) the console gave me a “no file format” message (despite it having the extension in the name, file properties, and project upload.)

I’m not sure what the problem is, but I guess until something gets resolved, I’ll just continue to use other file formats.

yeah, my only guess is that somehow the sound asset got corrupted during the save.

wick can be… a snowflake sometimes… i’m not really sure why the .ogg file would break the project as wick is supposed to support mp3/wav/ogg as far as i can tell.

I’m not sure either… All of the other .ogg files I have on the project still function perfectly fine, and most of them were converted with the same method… Fortunately, the project is already almost halfway done and still functions just fine as long as I just use mp3/wav for the rest of the sounds, which shouldn’t affect the filesize so heavily that I can’t properly upload the game.

Problem not exactly “solved”, but at least it’s benign now.
