Everything disappears

#1

So, I tried to give a look at the alpha editor,
(I wanted to see if I could help out another user on the site with something)
but whenever I click on something in the timeline, it seems to disappear?
I’m not sure if this is a bug, or if the new editor works differently from
the old one, but clicking a part of the timeline, (a layer, frame etc…) isn’t
supposed to make it disappear is it?
I’ll post some screenshots below. (I unfortunately don’t have a screen recorder.)

Really don’t know what’s going on with that.
Edit:
Even the scroll bar disappeared

It just seems that whatever is touched disappears.
I’m using Firefox developer edition btw incase that helps with
anything.

This is really strange. I haven’t seen this happen before.

Could you attempt to “hard-refresh” by pressing ctrl + shift + R and seeing if that helps?

Also, If this does still occur, could you please check the web console to see if there are any errors?

Go to the settings/options menu

Ok, here’s what I got.
I already did the hard refresh, the same issues popped up.

So strange… I can’t get this to occur on firefox, firefox developer, or chrome…

This is on a completely fresh project correct?

Also, does this happen when pressing frames and layers in any order? Or is it always something like frame then layer?

I managed to recreate parts of the bug on a touchscreen Chromebook. The layers disappear after repeatedly tapping them. The bug isn’t there when I’m using the mouse.

Someone should try to recreate it on an iPad.

@Luxapodular
Yes. You said to hold Ctrl+Shift+R right?
I did it but nothing changed unfortunately… :sleepy:

The order doesn’t matter things just disappear when clicked.

@XYZt
Yes this is exactly what’s happening!
Well in my case even if I tap once it disappears…
Thanks for the input man.

@colorsCrimsonTears are you also using a touch screen display or drawing tablet? Thanks for digging into this as well @XYZt!

Ok! Believe it or not, this is a good thing. We’ve narrowed the issue to tablets and touch screens. @zrispo and I will get on it!
