Export as a "monolythic" html file kills Android

Hello from Rome, Italy.
Great project, thank you!
I’m very satisfied with my first export.
I can open it without any issues on desktop PC but it totally kills Chrome on a relatively recent Android smartphone.
The HTML file is almost 20 megabytes, is that viable?
Any other export options?
Thank you,
Francesco

Hi Francesco! Thanks for the kind words!

Would it be possible for you to send us a link to the project to test?

Also, as of now, there aren’t any other standalone export options for projects. You can export as a zip and upload it to websites like newgrounds and itch though.

Hi Luxapodular.
Of course I can, here it is:

Awesone forum responsiveness!
Have a nice sunday,
Francesco

So I took a look at the project on my phone. I was able to load it but many of the interactions didn’t work.

We’ll have to look into making some better, mobile responsive interactions in the next few updates. I’ll post on the forums once we do this! We’re already working on an export option to make the project properly fit a screen.

What type of phone did you try this on? I’m working off of a very modern phone (Samsung Galaxy S8) at the moment.

Also, I love the music you’ve paired with the pages

Hello! Thanks again.
The testing phone is a Samsung S5 mini with Android Lollipop.
I’ll try to further reduce image size!
The music is the theme of the famous “Scale of the Universe” Flash infographic:
