colors won’t work in gif

changing bg color, taking it out of clip etc

the hat is sopposed to be red
i took a look and the hat has a lot of random, duplicated stuff. i think this happens when you make the fill of something transparent? or if you erase something transparent? i don’t actually remember. why it makes it black, i have absolutely no idea.
i tried exporting multiple times, and sometimes it’s red and other times it’s black, and i swear the only difference is that i move the shapes around. but now i can’t get it to be red anymore so…
i did manage to export it in mp4 without problems though. so try exporting mp4, then using an online converter to make it a gif.
