Hey, how do you use the v-cam to follow a character in a way where it feels like theirs a camera-man running around

It’s very confusing, think of it as a drone flying around a character as the character is running or fighting or looking in a direction.

how do you get the background to change with the perspective??

If you’re available or able too, please tell me how it works or how to do it.

You could study some prespictive charts and draw real life simple objects from different angles.

That’s not what I meant

You really can’t make the background move with perspective, you will have the make the background change perspective frame by frame.

  1. make a circle.
    image
  2. imagine the top down view of your character
    image
  3. imagine where the feet is.
    image
3.5. add any other possible important features of your character to use for reference
  4. turn this into a symbol.
    image
  5. make it a full rotation inside the symbol
    image
  6. flatten the symbol down
    image
7.BOOM you have your reference. you can use this to draw your character spinning and stuffs!

Same tech? You’re basically squashing a object to give it perspective.

Note: For the X axis, use skewing instead of squashing.
