You are. I would recommend detailing your problem in the initial post itself, instead of asking for help then waiting- that way we can help faster. Do you have a specific problem, or just want to get familiar with the interface? If it’s the latter, play around and use these resources, they’re quite helpful.

Spend some time on wick, both drawing and animating. Try simple animations like bounce, motion, etc. I suggest you look up the Twelve Principles of Animation.
