Hey. i might quit

hello everyone, ash here. i may quit using wick editor for a couple of reasons. firstly, i got falsely banned from this forum. i dont understand WHY the heck i got banned, even though i never done anything. second of all, this software hasent got an ACTUAL update in years! sure i can understand that there is a new fork made with the help of the wicklets team but is that really it? and third of all, i just kinda wish that this software had a tad bit more like idk, a way to edit audio better without keeping on playing the audio after the end part? just a recommendation.

anyways, i will be moving over to enve animation. sure ill keep checking the forums and engage with the community but that’s really it i guess. and im sorry to call it quits but it’s reality i guess.

so, thank you wick, for being part of my art/animation journey and thank you all for everything. and i hope to see you all again.

I recommend you to use opentoonz which is WAY BETTER and it has like 10 million paint brush variety and professional tools and it was used by studio gibilhi and its free avaible on MacOS, Windows, And Best of all Linux

I’ve got a question, does it give you a reason for being banned like a message along with he ban or is it just a normal ban

well there was no message/reason for the ban. it just said that ill be unbanned on the first of October (which hey, is today.)

No, sadly bc i dont know how 2 contact them. Sure i can use discord but its blocked on my school laptop

I know this probably isn’t enough that you wouldn’t want to not leave still, but I thought I’d mention that if you put a single blank frame after the frame with your audio in it then the audio will cut off there instead of continuing to play. (also good luck with whatever you do next)

i edited your post to remove your contact information/socials because sharing sensitive info is prohibited on the forum. it’s way too much of a liability concern for us (also just having stuff like an email exposed on the internet is… a bad idea in general).

also regarding your suspension, i probably shouldn’t publicly talk about why you were suspended but the suspension period has ended.
