How do I open the asset library

Hello I’m using Wick 1.19.1 and every tutorial video for gif creation refers to the asset library but I’m unable to see it in the lower left corner as every tutorial video displays it there.

I’m going crazy! Any help opening the asset library would be much appreciated!

Hello there, welcome to the forum.

You should see this:

If that’s not there, maybe you can send a screenshot of what you see and we can help you then.

Yes! Everything is the same except everything in that red circle is not there!

the circle is not supposed to be there

The circle is so you see where you have to focus on-

Also, in here you are selecting a layer.

Select the frame so it appears.

That is interesting…

Looking at the picture, my guess is that you’re using the Wick app version.

If you are, try using the web version here: https://www.wickeditor.com/editor/

I don’t think it’s because the layer is selected. Even when the layer is selected, the asset library should be visible.

Oooh…right.

I tried it just now and it does show when i have a layer.

Nevermind then, i was wrong-

Ah yes, I can now see the asset library in the web editor. Thank you very much. Unfortunately it seems like I’m limited to the built in assets. How do I add my own? I’m granted just access but not a choice to upload my own.

click the button on the right. you should be able to upload things from your computer.

I’m clicking the upload assets via the web editor on an ipad pro but nothing pops up?

Works on my windows desktop

That’s why you are mobile.

The mobile version is new, therefore it contains a lot of bugs, and is a work in progress.

However, the Wick team are working on improving the mobile editor, and it should work more perfectly in the near future :star2:

Im having the same problem on mobile, I wanted to make a tutorial on how to use the mobile version but I geuss not since there is no asset library.
