I have a song that I want to cut off in the beginning, where there is a static hum. Do I have to record it again, or can I cut it off?

I don’t think Wick has inbuild tools for that; but there are plenty of free options, even online, I would say… It might be a nice idea to incorporate a FOSS-webbased one, but for the moment, I think you need to use an external one…
