How to Create PixelArt

What Wick Editor Version are you using?
The newest
Describe the Problem
I saw @epicpixelman Creations and wondered how to do Pixel art in Wick

What have you tried so far?
Scaling the canvas size to 64 by 64 but it is vector so this won’t change much

Do you have a Wick Editor File that we can see? Optional*
My Project6-3-2021_22-28-25 This don’t Looks Good

One way to do it is to create a square grid (will take a bit depending on size) and copy paste it and recolor the squares every frame
(Use a resolution like 600x600 for square so it doesn’t look low quality

Hi,

if I wanted to create and animation with pixel-precise art, I would make it with an exernal editor and animate it with wick, like https://www.pixilart.com/draw

I was actually thinking of adding a feature in the next pixel lide update where you can open your animation in wick, download your project as a wick file, or convert it into a wick sprite (I was planning to work on that during summer)… this way, you’ll be able to edit your pixel art inside of wick - but Idek if wick will allow that since these are two different apps though it would be an interesting feature :/

Yes, as @pwiegers mentioned, you can create pixel art outside of wick, then put it inside of a wick project - which is the best method you can currently use since Wick doesn’t have a “pixel pen”
