First think of something to draw
Then use a drawing app to make the character
Pix2d,MS Paint and Paint.net are recommended. Also you can use wickeditor.
Then boom You’re done!
post it to youtube or twitter or even here on the forums!

in my opinion, this isn’t that helpful it just says think of something then draw it some people can be new to art programs and are not that good at drawing. but that’s my opinion.

mrdashell does have a point. it doesn’t help anyone draw. all you’re saying is this:
- think of a character
- make it
this would do nothing for a person like me who can’t draw well. this is just a given and obvious process. you think of something to draw, you draw it, bam you’re done.

I agree, this won’t help a beginner learn how to draw.
But there’s still a benefit from this post.
It gives good resources for making art (I’ll probably check these out sometime)
And gives some pretty nice examples
So I still think it can be useful

This might be harsh but I don’t think you helped at ALL. Even people who can’t draw can draw characters. Everyone can draw a character if they wanted to. So there was no point in this post. Again, sorry if I sounded mean.

it’s not that bad just use the pencil tool instead of the brushes when you want to use the fill bucket
the pencil tool lines are aliased but that isn’t a problem for me because i like it

Agree with pumpkinhead.
Also how I can’t draw, but I’ve made quite some fancy stuff on Paint. It’s excellent as a simple software.
