Import Animated GIFs as Clip and Image Sequence

I’m using Wick Editor 1.19.3

My students made talking characters in Brush Ninja and exported them as animated GIFs. I’m confused why some students animated GIF appeared in the asset library as an image sequence and some appeared as clips? I want the imported GIFs to be only clips, not image sequences.

I tried uploading several GIFs all at once to the asset library. I realized that only the first GIF appears as a clip, while the next ones appear as an image sequence:

I need to import the GIFs one by one to have clips:

I tried sharing my wick editor projects from my Google Drive. I’m making a tutorial video for my students, so I want to tell them the best way to import animated GIFs.

@Hamzah_Alani, do you have experience importing animated gifs, so we could help @Mrs_K_McGarrah and her students?

I don’t work a lot with gif’s

I “think” the editor turns the gifs into a set of images, it checked to see if the first image set are part of a gif, clipped them, and treated the other assets as image files without clipping them. That’s just my guess

This is probably more of a bug
