I’ve been using the wick editor for a long time and I haven’t seen any work done on it since 2021. are there any major updates coming ?
No. This project is basically dead.
not exactly. im pretty sure you already knew, but a few months back, Luca(one of the co-founders of wick editor) gifted wick to CMU(Carnegie Mellon University Entertainment Technology Center). long story short, CMU are working on something, along with Jovanny and the wicklets team guiding them. because of this however, there hasn’t really been a update to the editor for a while. so, the editor is not dead, but its not alive either. call it like a state of limbo if you will. all i know is that they have been making some progress on it.
