Is Wicks Future Safe?

Hello i use Wick Editor for a time now but i’m not sure if it safe
if mean safe I mean by whether Wick edtior has a future or not. because for example: On Patreon you have only more than 200€ of 1000 and I’m afraid the Wick editor will go to the bottom. wick editor is the only animtion program I can really work with. it looks good it is easy to use and so much more. and it would be sad to see How Wick Editor goes bust at once so I ask if the futer is safe for Wick Editor?

Tbh, I don’t think this should be something to worry about.
Wick Editor is capable of a lot despite the bugs it has, and through time, I’ve only seen it grow.
This software might be underrated, but it won’t be in the future.
I believe Wick Editor will continue its success

Dont know about the development but hosting these days is pretty cheap. And if wick ever goes under it is open source. I have my own instance on my site at all times cuz im paranoid about stuff going down.

Sorry For The REALLY late response but yes you are Right It is kinda sad to see that People are underrating this Master piece of software!

Hi @Brickstar_X,

even if wick went offline (hope not!) even if no further development happended (hope not!): wick would still be Open Source software. You will allways be able to download it, develop on it, and use it.
That is one of the main reasons I use it: I do not have te be afraid someone takes it offline…

I hope it dosent stop getting supported. After using wick for a bit I decided to open up Adobe Animate to just check it out and I didnt know where to start with it.
And because of that Im so glad I was introduced to wick when I was younger because otherwise I probably would have never started making art on the web.

same(well i tried to make on adobe animate…but i prefer wick editor) …and i agree…
for me wick editor was the simple and best for animating
