almost ended my game and found that even in the exported html pressing the K key will stop the entire game playing as it do in the editor !!!

Why did you name the topic K will KILL YOU
that probably means you have a mistake in your code. it might not be caught in the editor, but it becomes evident in the exported version. check your code and see if there is an error.

in browser wick editor pressing the K key will stop your code playing and it’s ok, it’s a shortcut
when you export in html your coded project tough you dont want shortcuts from your development tools
it doesn’t do that for my game. “k” does nothing in an exported state, and that is my play/pause button.
if you can send a file, maybe we can help.
try opening the editor, and changing the “k” shortcut, after that try pressing k in an html exported version in order to see if the shortcut is the problem, or if it’s a problem in your script. Then let us know the results.
I made it
changed the key that preview play and it will also stops the playhead in the exported html.
I exported as html not as zip
the html retain the editor shortcuts. it’s a bug in my opinion

I had a thought. while testing the html page in a browser tab I had the editor opened in another tab
it could be that the shortcuts of the editor were active also in the other page for some reason.
anyway as i told I cannot replicate the issue now

K is a hotkey for stopping and starting Preview Play. It’s ok, but not in the HTML!
