Add a layer list (a section that tells you what objects are in what layer)

[/For example shown like this

  • circleboi(top layer)
  • triangleman(mid)
  • rectangle guy (bottom layer)

So if I dragged rectangle guy’s icon to the top, the
Editor would move him above both circleboi and triangle man and therefore making circle in the mid and triangle in the last

This will allow us to organize our projects faster and easier (witout having to dig through mountains of clips just to move something up twice

Is that something different to what the outliner pane offers in version 1.18?

In a way it is
But it’s main perpose is to allow you to rearrange the order of art or clips on the canvas
