This is my first game, I wanted to put my experiences with mental health into it. Let me know what you think ^_^ I know it’s not perfect, but I’m still proud that I did something and finished it
Hi and welcome to the forums! May you post your source .wick file? This game is really high quality compared to most of the games here.
that was a really good game im also developing games and a while back i made a point and click test where you click and it moves at the point you click and if you want it for reference i got you
great job on sharing your project! one thing i found helpful when exploring new ideas is drawing inspiration from diverse sources. for instance, the focus and stability required for game development remind me of the benefits of consistency in other fields. the concept behind a mother plant in cannabis cultivation, where traits are consistently passed on through clones, resonates with maintaining focus and commitment to a vision
Welcome to the forums @BrianSolley! Please note that this post is from 2025.
Always look at the date of the last comment, if it is more than a week, than I’d recommend not posting to it.
If it uses the Mon 'Yr system (e.g Jun 25), than the post has been stale for at least one year.
I wouldn’t say there’s anything inherently wrong with posting from old topics if you want to say something. It’s usually preferred over creating a new thread anyway.
eliasta This is fantastic work - I am not done yet! But I can tell you are talented and have a great career ahead of you. You need to concider an eLearning / instructional design career. I have no idea how old you are but at any age this would be exceptional.

@lukeo25 Thank You! I’m 2 year game design student actually, so I will keep that in mind:) it’s a success for me to hear that people like my game and that it isn’t boring
Tho in AI era I’m so not sure about my career:(
Sorry, this is very important project for me (first ever game) so I rather not post my source code coz I want to protect it
Thank You for kind words
Don’t worry, games that are truly 100% AI generated typically get only viewed for hype and really are just to burn some money to make the stock go up.
I personally have nothing wrong with using AI art when the game isn’t really intended for a large audience or isn’t comercial, and no problem with AI coding too. But AI lore? I don’t think that makes good game histories.
