New to Luke Tools ( StickRig )

I know its a bit buggy but I had to share…

StickRig:

Aids with animating stickman style figures - clips

  1. Build your stickman rig with embeded child clips.

image

  1. Load the clip into Stick Rig by selecting it on stage and choosing Load in StickRig.
Stick Rig will create animation controls for the rig.

StickRigStep1

  1. Set the animation length in the timeline,
You will see StickRig will have made animation key frame channels for S(Scale), M(Move) and R(Rotate).

  1. Choose animate for the body part you want to move - remember to move to the timeline key you want to set your keyframe.

  1. Use the tools in the panel to create the desired animation.
(remember to chose animate for each part)

Set Keys

  1. Keyframes can be moved deleted and the rest.

7.Hit Commit, and your clip will be ready.

Things I’ll add going forward are… save character, and save animation. I’m also thinking of an animation library

Have fun
L

will you eventully make a video for this?

I have so many little jobs on the go including videos for this. - So yes I will.
I am working on some features to add to this - I’ll get those done before I do.

L

is this easy to do? im sorry for being a bother but its unique when it comes to stuff like this

You need to know how to create a limb for a stick man first.
It should have a parent clip top leg, then nested clips inside it - so:

Run LukeTools - You can find it here https://sites.google.com/view/myprojectcolabpage/library?authuser=0
Save it to your PC somewhere, Thn load it to your wick editor of choice. Use the Asset Library upload tool.
Then drag the LukeTool to the stage. Hit Play and LukeTools will load.

Delete the Luke Tool Icon and the LukeTool tab will be added to wick.

Click it to open the LT panel and you should see under Tools the StickRig icon.
Click it select your clip I described above and the tool will do as I mentioned above.

But yes I will add a tutorial video at some point.

L

dont worry i have luketools, thanks :)

ill try to follow your steps

IT NOW ANIMATES REAL TIME !!!

And you can now reanimate clips - ( so long as they are keyframed )

You can animate clips that were not made with StickRig also!

Yay!
