New www.wickeditor.com homepage! (Site down for maintenence 6/13 11PM EST - 6/14 1AM EST)

#1

Hi Everyone! We’re excited to announce that we’ll be upgrading the www.wickeditor.com homepage on Friday!

You can get a sneak peak of the new website on new.wickeditor.com.

We still have a few color updates to make, but this site is nearly done and much overdue! The new site will have links to the alpha editor AND the legacy editor, so don’t worry. We’ll make sure to have a functioning version of the legacy editor up for everyone to use, indefinitely.

Let us know what you think!

Wow! It looks awesome! I love the background. Lots of informative stuff on the page, too!

Looks great! Nice work. I’m glad the examples for the alpha editor will be easier to reach now.

That was a huge thing we wanted for this version of the site. Also, it’s mobile compatible

Found a bug: Clicking about on the navbar shows the about page at new.wickeditor.com/about, but refreshing the page shows a 404.

Edit: Also applies to the other subpages of the new site.

Well that was a big miss :stuck_out_tongue: I’ll need to check how we are configuring our domain routing…

Looks lovely

Now, looking at the header .svg I want gradients in editor even more

I’m getting this warning when visiting the new site now. The other subdomains of wickeditor.com work fine.

Hey @XYZt,

We were still running into a few problems such as this one. We’ll be fixing this and a few other things over the next few days while we push back the site maintenance.

Hmm, I don’t get any errors when I visit. I’m using Firefox.

Same, no errors with chrome.

I think the security cert was not up to snuff, as few days ago it showed me that the website was running on http not https, but it is ok now.

Edit: Surprisingly, the current wickeditor.com runs on http now, while new.wickeditor.com runs on https.

Hey all,

We’re still having a few issues to work out on the new site before we do the full replacement. We might end up doing the maintenance very late on saturday or sunday.

Thanks for all the feedback everyone!

New website is live!

Also, I can’t wait for the version of the editor from about page going live! (I can smell the pen tool!)

the picture from the about page is a bit different from what it is now, even in the test version.
