If I animate with this OC, should I use it with a mouth or not? I know this feels unnecessary but I want an opinion.
I’m leaning toward the mouth one, it fills that space on the bottom half of the head. I can also lip-sync and put more effort into my animations ya kno.

this OC is heavily inspired by more or less a clone of wazzo and potato on scratch (i know super creative am i right)
I turned the limbs from lines to rectangles so that proportions aren’t distorted when enlarging the OC is enlarged or shrunk. I also tweaked the hair and positions a tiny bit to make the numbers nice.
it kind of looks horrifying but on the other side it looks kind of cool
you should ask yourself if you need the mouth
if it’s necessary for your storytelling then use it
else less is better himo
You could just make the mouth appear and disappear at will

as for collabing, it heavily depends on what it is. I’m fine with both animations and games, but the specifics are essential for me to know if i want to join.
so I’m pretty busy (i have the 5-hour energy animation and other projects, i lead FF, etc), so if i have to do like 70-80% of it, I’m not gonna do it. i make time to visit the forum but visiting is a few minutes, projects are much more time-consuming.
tell me what the thing is gonna be about and your background of animating/game-making so i can estimate the work distribution, and I’ll consider it.
