So let’s say I have animation of a scrolling background in Wick, when I run the project it works, but on export it fails to work. I have read other replies to similar questions but the bug still persists.
I have a similar problem, but for me it just says it’s not a video file. Even though I downloaded it as a video file.
After some testing, I realized it was just that Wick file. I’ll do more research later this week when I have more time…
We’ve been aware of issues with the video exporter for a few months now. We’re taking another look at the problems later this month as we get ready to release version 1.0. We’ll be updating the alpha.wickeditor.com branch and posting to the forum when we have a fix.
I’ve done some research and it looks like it fails because it has an audio file, but here’s an easy way to fix it.
- Animate over the audio file
- Delete the audio from the project, and download the animation
- Go to http://www.addaudiotovideo.com/
- Put in the animation and audio file
- Done! (but check the new file to make sure video is right)
Thank you for the detailed report!
I was working on a few animation and clicked download video to see if it was working again, and it is
and… it’s broken again
