can i be back in
my thoughts on 509robotic's project
Hey, @anon43897440, it might be true that your code was simple, but you used an element of creativity where you made use of this basic knowledge of javascript to create something that just looks cool! When I was first learning js, I had to use what I knew to create different things, which is why I think this is an important element to know, so overall, I would say you did a good job with making this project!
Now, sense were a team, I can’t make decisions and grade people without seeing what my team thinks, so your grade would be the average rating after we have 5 (or more) voters.

Remember, if you get more than 65%, then your passing!
@anon43897440, your close to getting less than 65%
(btw, were gonna have to round to the nearest whole number)
65.75%
One more vote will decide everything!
(atleast 5 votes to close the poll)
EDIT:
It just closed, with a
65.4% !!!!!!!
meaning 65%
I’ve seen many parallax projects in Scratch so I don’t really think that it’s creative. I think parallax projects are used to show off art skills or something because parallax is very easy to program, you just divide mouse position by a number and you created a parallax project. And the parallax being shown seems to be just some random blobs to me. So I don’t think it’s very creative.
I would have to agree with you, but it is what it is. If we feel like 509 needs to redo then… it also is what it is.
Everyone has a different view of things. I’ve never really used scratch before, but I would say that @anon43897440 was close, and since multiple people submitted other projects and didn’t give up, I think @anon43897440 should be able of doing so too, of course, until the tests close.
I… don’t know where Scratch comes in. I thought a C was 70%, but maybe it’s different in NY, don’t know. I don’t know if you want 509 to redo or not.
Also, where I live (NY, not the city though), a lower than 65% would be a failing grade in my school, that’s why I chose 65
Oh, okay then.
he says that he uses Scratch
see this is his scratch account https://scratch.mit.edu/users/509robotic/ i just searched up his username on scratch
yes. A lot of people use scratch because it uses code blocks, but I think it’s easier to just type a code than to scroll through hundreds of codeblocks to find a specific one
Hi @anon43897440, just to keep u updated, your last project was so close to passing, but it failed by a decimal point! There’s still time until the tests are due, so u could submit another one anytime before Sept. 29th!
You could read the comments, try to look for ways to updated your project, or try to come up with something new
check the comments of your soul boy help again!!! game on scratch
You could always try using projects on wick and study them to learn some new js tricks
Also, you could try animating, or making music, it’s always ur choice
*me trying to remember my scratch account password that I made about a month ago *
It’ll come to me somehow
My computer has been glitching out recently. Did I miss anything important?
Well they closed the invitation and could possibly remove some people because there were too many people to manage. Also they need to “test” you to see if you’re good enough to keep
Essentially… Yeah. You missed a lot of important stuff.
