I finally found the program location for wick editor, and set it as the “Open With” default for .wick files on my pc. Yet since the desktop version is, in it’s current state, an embedded webpage, there is no open with functionality, it just keeps as a blank canvas and doesn’t attempt to open the file.
Reproduction:
ONE: download the wick editor desktop app
TWO: set it as the default app for opening .wick files
THREE: try opening a file
What’s Expected: Wick opens the file and you can edit it right away

Solutions: implement functionality for “Open with” so that it loads the project you’re trying to open.
