Ever since I first started using Wick Editor, I’ve been using the browser version. While it can be bit buggy, it is definently usable.
Does the app version run any better than the web version?

The app version of Wick was actually one of the “new” things that came out before Wick stopped getting updates, so it’s still in beta.
I believe the major issues with the app version were:
Asides from that, the app version seems to be as functional as the web version.
But that also means if your wick project crashes on the app version, you can’t always rely on autosave.
The major advantage of the app version, though, would be that it’s available offline.
I personally prefer the web version, simply because I like having 7 different editor tabs open at a time lol, but I still have the app version in case if I don’t have access to the wifi. If you prefer working in the app, then just be cautious when it comes to saving your project.
Ok, thanks for the answer
as far as I can tell, the desktop app is also outdated. i think it’s on 1.19.0 while the most recent version is 1.19.4 (on wickeditor.com/test). I’m also on wifi 99% of the time so I just use the web version.
