Scratch-like cursor

Okay nevermind, it was from my side, it fixed it self.

I haven’t been able to work on the tool for the past few days, but hopefully I should get everything set up soon!

Yeah, the Wick shortcuts aren’t CAPS sensitive.

Sorry, I really haven’t been able to do anything about the gradient tool. :( I can’t make any promises, and there’s some other stuff I’d like to work on (i want to animate like alan ebcker :D)… I’ll probably either commit to finishing the gradient tool and skew tweens, or I’ll eventually come back to them when I need those features, like I did with the cursor thing.

BTW, if you’d like, I can compile what I’ve gathered about developing Wick Editor so that you guys can also make new features! That’d be cool

I don’t mind how much time you take if it stresses you, because I also have had a similar expirence in that and I can understand if you want to stop for awhile to learn some other things. I’ve seen your animations before and I think you have a lot of potential for this aswell as coding.

As James Clear once wrote in his book, Atomic Habits, “Walk slowly, but never backwords”

I understand how dedicated you are to your work and I appreciate the amount of work you put into your projects and goals, not giving up.

Good luck with your work! :D

Tiny bug found; when I make two seperate single-framed clips with multiple frames, and join them and break them apart, they can’t be deleted.

Please feel free to take your time to fix this problem :)

Thank you for your thoughts and advice :)

I’ll add that bugfix to my imaginary to-do list.

i think adding different shapes of brushes would be a good suggestion (like square, rectangle, brush)

you added more stuff :D

Hey again! It’s nice to see you’re back! I kinda forgot what I added lol
oh yeah, the brush mode thing and mobile cursor

How to enable frame picker?

Select to a clip with multiple frames, and go to inspector.

apologies, totally forgot about this! :( I’ll check this out and try to fix it as soon as possible

Notes:

  • Also bugs out on loop and play once clips with any amount of frames
  • Bug disappears when you play and pause the project

Edit: yay so I think I found a fix

Thanks for looking into it!
Please don’t feel rushed too about it, I can understand how difficult somethings are, so please take your time :]

What’s the workaround? Making object show legs is a lot easier when you’re skewing, but I have no idea how to skew tween.

LET’S GO LEAFYYYYYYY

not sure of any workarounds in Wick Editor, but clip skewing can be added to a fork! (I just figured out it out, the leafy gif was a small test) it may be added to Candlestick in the future, but in the meantime, I could add it to my fork if you want

I think some people would want the features to skew, when it is a clip because you might create something complicated as a clip, and want to slant it as a clip, without difficulties, and there have been some people asking for it.

yeah, I’ve been wanting it in Wick Editor for a while too :D
