Simple Tutorial For Improving Wick Art

(NOTE: Everything here is mostly subjective but if you want some tips here ya go, also I’m not familiar with formatting so yeah)

Start

so to start, make some lineart (like so)
image
and then just group it to make a clip
(optionally also group the lineart in the clip after you do solid coloring in the next step)

Solid Coloring

so, first make solid colo(u)rs

Coloring Scales

I recommend using this over the swatches most the time

now our ghost so far looks pretty good!

Shading (Last step)

Ok, so now what you want to do is clip your solid colors together inside the clip and clip your lineart together inside the clip, example
image
once you do that make shading strokes (I recommend doing it up top first so you can see better)
image
then finally select your shading strokes and put them behind the lineart

this should be your final result

My Personal Settings
  • Disable Relative Brush Size
  • Stabilizer; 30 - 60
  • Brush size I use normally, about 20 (this changes for alot of stuff though)
