Svg files won't open on stage

I am using Wick Editor 1.19.2. I have just opened a new project, and imported svg assets (originally created in Adobe Illustrator, and saved as svg files). The files are not large in size. All the svg files in the library have a large question mark, next to them, and will not open on stage. The Add to Canvas button does nothing, and I cannot drag the assets onto stage. I see that someone on the Forum had a similar problem, back in July, but nobody responded . Any suggestions as to what is not working here? Thanks for any help!

Hello! You may want to use the newer version of Wick. (they also changed domains)

it may be version 1.20

Thanks- I assume that I’m using the most recent version, though, as I just open it up, online (I haven’t downloaded the program).

it could be your .svg contain feature not supported by wick (eg. gradient fill) or it’s something about svg format
when I export as svg from inkscape I usually have no problem if there are not unsupported features
maybe try to open one of your svg in inkscape and save again before import
