I am making the Best Game Ever and this will be the devlog. I started working on this about 2 weeks ago with Jovanny’s game engine (2.2 i think) I will probably finish this by July or late August. ig if anyone sees this then u can help a little.

-I had just finished working on the title screen, and made the buttons functonal.
Why the FPS is 2
after looking at the picture above, you may say something like:“HEY KIRBINSO YOUR GAME SUX BECAUSE THE FPS IS 2.”
But the only reason it is 2 is because this was taken only a few milliseconds after the game started. But it’s also because I’ve had my SRB2 dedicated server online for the last 4 days and it’s starting to slow down my 2011 Windows 10 PC, so that also adds to the problem.
+I also extended from the default level on the platformer engine to have three sections, a springing section/ extremely deadly section, a water section, and basically the beginning of the level.
That’s about it for today ig.

rn, there is only 1 of the planned 16 stages in the game so i better get busy by demo 2
You can’t have a exe for a wick editor game, you can have a html though

I have finally finished the first demo for TBGE. The second section of the level is extremely buggy for unknown reasons though. (maybe something to do with the text?)

Since the collision in the giant wall near the springs is broken, it teleports its hitbox to 900 pixels/units away. I will fix that as soon as I can get 0.4.4 out by next week.

No more invisible wall collisions, and no more level that is impossible to beat!!

+Nerfed the end of the first level so that you can actually get to the flag

However when I play the first level and I get to the water part it always send me back to the level selction after a minute or so, could you check this bug?
you need some optimization, the game runs at 8 fps, I tried to delete many objects and the game went up to 20fps, the problem if you don’t know is that every single line is an object even if it is inside a clip, for example inside a single spring there are 12 objects!! a way to optimize the game would be to join some lines via the “unite” button.
the problem is that I tried to join the black lines of the springs to transform 10 objects into 1 object and the lines disappear, but if you try to do it on a coin it works,
but for all those objects you would have to redo the level from the beginning or change every single object one by one, this project interests me and if you can code the animations I could help you by making drawings from 0 but animated keeping this thing under eye, discord: lol56_boss
