Transparent gifs

for some reasone gifs that are transparent dont export. any tips to fix this

transparent export seems to just be a limitation of wick’s export engine. you could try setting the background to a weird color and then chroma-keying it out (using a different tool to convert that color into transparency)

there’s no fix to it as far as i know, but what i do to tackle it is to export the animation as a image sequence, then go to a image to gif converter, (i use ezgif) export it, and your done

there are some problems though!!

  1. exporting transparent animations have a horizontal black line at the very top and bottom, if you want to change this you can crop the images with ezgif

  2. (ezgif problem) when using ezgif’s images to gif converter, the framerate would be extremely low. you can change the speed with the speed modifier

Just doesn’t work… in Wick. Try chroma-keying (like others have said)! I suggest a web-safe magenta.
