Personally i voted brush as i think the brush because it helps me get smoother lines
pencil is too thin and pixely for me
I like em’ both fairly.

I might just go with the brush since the eyedropper changes the fillcolor, and the pen uses stroke color, making it harder to change its color
undoubtedly it is the brush tool. i only use the pencil tool for splitting a shape in half so i can fill in multiple areas of a shape with a different color.
well, the poll asks for “pen”, not “pencil”. I’ll do all 3: those 2 and the brush.
For me, the pencil is just super hard to work with, it is so much better to draw a line and edit the line. It’s a no-go for me.
The brush does have the same problem, but it adjusts itself better (seemingly) and it has both a fill and stroke color. Lines and pencils do have both too, but their fill color is not useful in most cases.
If we had a pen tool, it would be much easier to use than drawing a line and editing the line. You get better line art out of it. That said, I’ve never done much art.
So in the end, I still like the brush more, whether @DiegoC345 meant pen or pencil. Here’s a chart of how I feel about the tools.
