krita is really good for tradition frame by frame and drawing everything compared to adobe which is better which vector style art. and it is fully FREE. but it all depends on your art style. also if you want to keep with adobe I recommend the photoshop version for more detailed art. but it still depends on your art style.
I forgot to say that krita is better on a budget but I recommend photoshop if you want to pay and for the same price as animate I believe , and this is all my opinion photoshop can be expensive
