When is the update coming out?

I heard that 1.20 will come out. 4 years passed, and nothing changed. What happened? (just asking)

wick was bought by a college and now they don’t really do updates

we’re not expecting anything new from carnegie mellon (the university that acquired wick). things basically fell through.

i “recently” shared a status update though. we (me, hamzah, jovanny) are/were working on some stuff behind the scenes but we’re pretty busy right now. (we HAVE made progress technically)

Wick Editor - Status Update (sorta)

Wick in its current state is, and has been, dormant, as I am sure everyone knows by now. But roughly a week ago, we three moderators (me, Jovanny, and Hamzah_Al_Ani) had a quick meeting talking about what we can do with Wick moving forward. We haven’t started taking any action since then, all we did was bounce a couple of ideas off each other. No promises on anything, but we are hoping to get Wick Editor back on its feet at some point. don’t expect anything from us for a while (it will take months at the bare minimum considering our free time), but don’t worry, we are still thinking about stuff.
