Why "paste" works like that?

Every time I copy an object and paste it the first time it pastes it at some random, as it seems, location, but every other paste I use has been pasted on top of the object I copied it from? It’s like the first Paste is normal paste but every other paste is like “paste in place” Isn’t that weird? And is there an option specifically to paste in place? I didn’t find any shortcut for it.

And while working another question appeared but didn’t’ wanted to make a new thread, so here it is.
Before I made the animation I made a ball and turned it into Clip. After I finished the animation I edited the balls color inside the Clip, but the ball changed its color only on the frame I edited. The rest of the animation remained with the color I picked at the beginning. Isn’t it suppose to change the color to all objects (clips) as in Flash? Or I’m on a different page here?

The first paste is 20 pixels to the right and below the original shape, and the rest are on top of the original. Dunno why it happens.

As for your second question, I think I know why it would do that.
If the ball is in the frames like this:
Screen Shot 2020-06-06 at 10.51.28 AM
They are “different” clips because they are not on the same frame.

If the ball is in one frame (it can be tweened), like this:
Screen Shot 2020-06-06 at 10.53.00 AM
It’s the same clip because it’s on the same frame. Therefore, editing on the tweened frame changes all frame numbers.

First of all, thanks for taking the time and effort to answer my questions. Your responds are much appreciated!

As it seems the Pate option needs to be looked at at some point of time! And for the Clips, it’s what I thought as well, but just wanted to make sure. If so, the frame by frame animation will become so much harder now, especially on bigger projects, because the animator will have to correct, if needed, all the singe frames manually for color. That’s another thing that needs to be addressed in the future for better animation software.

Thanks again and have a good day :)
