first I wanna say thanks for the wick editor, its one of those tools I dreamed of! Thanks!
But why does the open button not work on any browser, on OSX? And why is there no html export on the app version?
The editor is great for html idea notes and I‘m hoping that it will be usable for that on ipad.

I used to have this problem too. I think I solved it by updating Chrome to its latest version. All of a sudden it started working. I guess I usually don’t care too much about Chrome updates, but in this case it was necessary for uploads/imports to work.
