ZIP and HTML exports aren't working (at least on itch.io)

zip files load into the wick ghost loading screen and then get stuck.
HTML files don’t load at all.

The last time this happened I had to wait a week before I decided to download the zip and upload it and then it worked for some reason.

is there any solution for this? I don’t want to wait a week.

EDIT: I’m using a 2013 mac. does that have something to do with it?

Hi,

First up I would test if they work locally on your own computer? If they work there, it would say that this is not a wick-problem?..

if you mean using the play function on the wick editor, than yes it works

Uh, no, that is not what I meant. If you export the html from wick, does it work if you open that in a browser.

also no, it’s just a white screen with the tab name being “loading…”

Sometimes when there’s an error the project stops loading (some errors aren’t an issue in the editor but are in the html version). Perhaps that’s what’s happening in this case. Are you able to share the wick file by any chance? (If the file is too large to upload here, you can share it through a google drive share link).
