Hey everyone, test this out if you’d like! I don’t think there’s any bugs, though. https://stickmanred.github.io/wick-editor/test-gradient-tool/
Not stickman red with the mobile support
Wow, that is pretty cool!
You should make it so that holding shift and clicking on a gradient stop will delete that particular stop.
Also, I found a bug where the gradient bar still appears if you forget to deselect the gradient tool button before leaving a clip:
Thank you everyone for your help!
That sounds like a great idea! I just mapped it to the delete/backspace key, but that sounds more intuitive. About the bug, good catch, I’d have never thought about the clips. Thanks again for testing it out, and I should have the fixes pushed by the time you read this!
Oh yeah, that was the mobile cursor modes :P Speaking about mobile support, I forgot to add the gradient tool for mobile, so this next batch of fixes should work!
Why was the awesome sauce deleted :(
I also recommend that you add some kind of move crosshair in the middle of the gradient bar to move the entire bar as trying to without altering the locations of the gradient stops is pretty difficult.
I also found another bug where if you press the undo button, the gradient stop that experienced recent change wouldn’t change position nor color (but the gradient output itself would change).
Thanks again for the feedback! The changes are now pushed to the test page. If there’s no more bugs found, I’ll add the gradient tool to the main page
I tried to quote but i don’t know how :[
Forgot to mention, the gradient modes thing on the top is for mobile support, on desktop, you can press Shift+drag to move both endpoints
here is a image of a table using this
