I have a problem, some images are too wide and when used as buttons, can overshadow others, and so, I believe a builtin crop function would be beneficial. It should work like this:
Click on your image in the Asset Library
Click a new crop button
Crop the image
Click a new Save button
If needed, you can also do this on an image basis and not across the whole project.

Good idea! You can’t even erase a part of a image. So great idea. 
I asked for clip masking.
