similar to centering the canvas, but for specific objects or assets on the canvas.

kenny is suggesting that there should be an easy way to center objects on the canvas.
for now, just look at the project dimensions and set the origin x and y to half of the width and height respectively.

Yeah, I need this all the time. Especially centering text relative to another object. It would be great if Wick could do this. For now, I calculate by hand, but that is obviously sub-optimal, to say the least.
If we could have multi-line text with centering I would be in animation-nirvana

that takes time tho, especially since i have horrible memory
you center the canvas by pressing a button. but how about automatically putting specific objects in the center of the canvas with the press of a button?
