Animation

Gradient tween

Gradients will become somehow tweenable with those diamond shaped thingies

rigs

idk how to explain what a rig is.

if a single line gets turned into a clip it will still be able to be edited with path cursor and connecting different lines that are also clips

probably so that with some code the line will be able to be turned into a rig

color tween

Change a color to another color with animation

shape tween

change a shape into another shape while animating it

Google sheets

For storing data (Idk if it could work because the only reason I thought about the idea was because of Google scripts)

Gradient Tween: Just put a gradient on its own layer, and tween it.

Rigs: Clips, but if that’s not enough, that would actually be a good feature!

If a single line gets turned into a clip it will still be able to be edited with path cursor and connecting different lines that are also clips : So basically, if somethings a clip, you can still use path cursor. Maybe just use path cursor BEFORE making it a clip.

Color Tween: just change th coor manually, but it would be harder, so this is a good idea!

Shape Tween: WE NEED THIS. except @StickmanRed struggled to do this so we might not have it for a while.

Google Sheets: Storing Data? I dont think we need this…

Embed: Again, not sure why we’d need this but ok…

Changing BG color w/ code: I wouldn’t need this but i get how this is useful so, yeah

ANYWAYS, those were alternates to those suggestions.

gradient/color/shape tweens are all kinda the same thing. im still debating with myself on whether its even a good idea, despite how useful it may be, just because of how weird they can be.

i think google sheets might have an API for automated data entry? idk, but if thats the case and theres a javascript API, you should theoretically be able to do whatever you can already do with javascript.

for embeds, html already has iframes, which should do what you want.

In my opinion, the Google Sheets thing could easily be JSON or CSV support in Candlestick. If we had a more simple way to store and make Wick-adjacent data, without using the DOM (to get and download files).

Note here, the background thing exists.
